The testing is done by Dr. Edward Martinelli, a licensed psychologist in the state of Utah. Ed received his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. He received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology, with an emphasis in Counseling and Guidance, both from Brigham Young University. He has worked for a number of institutions and private groups providing learning disability assessments, therapy, and other psychological services. From 2002 to 2007, Ed worked for Brigham Young University as the Coordinator of Psychodiagnostic Services in the University Accessibility Center. He was responsible for the learning disability and other evaluations that were done to assess disability status for BYU students who presented with learning problems. From 2007 to 2014, he was employed as the Director of the Accessibility Services Department and the ADA Coordinator at Utah Valley University. He now works as the Director of Learning Disability Testing in UVU's Student Health Center. He is married and lives in Pleasant Grove and is the father of three children.
